Short, because there is not much to say.
What we collect
No accounts, no newsletter, no advertising pixels, and nothing that follows you to another site. We do use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your device and does not identify you; it records the page, where the visit came from, the country and the browser, and we only ever see totals. Our host (Cloudflare) also keeps ordinary server logs (IP address, browser, page requested) for security and traffic counts. We do not build profiles from any of it.
The "Describe them" box
When you describe a person and ask for a pick, the text you typed and the budget you chose are sent to our server and on to an AI model provider (OpenRouter, routing to the model named on our methodology page) so it can choose from our own list. Do not put names, addresses or anything private in the box; a description like "my dad who braais" is all it needs. We do not store your question after answering it. The provider's own retention terms apply to the request it receives.
NetFlorist links
gift4 earns a commission from NetFlorist through its affiliate programme. Links to NetFlorist pass through the programme's tracking redirect, which sets a cookie on your browser so that a purchase within a few days is credited to us. It does not change the price you pay. NetFlorist sets its own cookies on its own site when you arrive there; see its privacy notice for those.
Cookies and storage
This site sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing in your browser beyond what the browser caches to load pages faster.
Contact and corrections
Spotted a wrong product, price band or note? Email hello@gift4.co.za. Corrections are made on the page and the page's date moves when its ranking changes.
